spent all day typing the same revised posts and adds. but kept being turned around in the confusion and loosing everything, then I try sending them the DBA info to be recognized and when I switch back to the application, it's gone and I'm staring at the home screen again. and I think you are supposed to log out each time because if you close the sight and try to open it again, the website can't seem to comprehend what just happened and will have you going in circles again. Not what I spend $on
Kept calling me on the phone to sign up for free ad credits. He mentioned it was all free, and I wouldn't pay anything. Turns out this isn't the case. The credits are basically just a discount. Got charged a ridiculous amount automatically after a week. I'm pretty sure the leads I did receive weren't even real people, very few of them respond and their numbers go straight to a voicemail . Stay far away don't give a dime to yelp
I dont know whats been going on here, but after a really good start and impressing me with the level of customer support, that has all gone away. Supposedly my support agent has had some personal things to deal with, which is fine, but since then though ive had zero help. I wrote to ask about some billing issue im having and it beem two weeks with no reply. I want to cancel my account but theres no option for it. Stay away from this app. Its very shady.
Very hard to navigate. They do have a robust customer service but who wants to always have to call customer service for every issue? When you make changes in the app it doesn't stick. I can't change my business address without calling customer service who are closed right now. Constant pressure to pay. I'm going to keep going with the app for a little while to see if it's worth it. I'll update this again in 30 days.
Do not pay for the ads!!!! I was able to start the ads at a set daily budget. They don't stick to the budget and charged more than 3X the amount of my set budget! On top of that, in order to cancel the ads, I was only given an 800 number (which if you are desperately training to stop them from hemeraging your bank account on the weekend, are out of luck, as they are closed.) I spoke with customer service and they wanted to send me a form for a refund for the days they weren't in the office. NO!!
For 3+ months now it has been impossible to communicate with customers requesting a quote. When we try to "Request more info" the app freezes. I have been in contact with support (sent screenshot, logs, etc.) with no luck correcting the problem. It apoears that only Android devices are affected. We are able to use the app with an iPad or on a laptop. Come on guys lets get our act together. You claim to be on the cutting edge of technology. Time to show a little love to us Android users.
I'm not sure what has changed but I had a good experience with the app a couple years ago when advertising. This time they disabled my request a quote(messenger), and filtered all my call clicks so they came up as scam likely. I spent thousands all for nothing. Add insult to injury and we are almost a month into waiting for a manager to think I'm worth a phone call back. I don't write reviews often, and only when I've exhausted every other option. Don't advertise with them, use the free version.
I have not been getting app notifications, from Yelp, for months. I have gone in, through the app AND desktop, and toggled the preferences, and I even uninstalled/reinstalled the app, but it's still an issue. Needless to say, customers contact me, and unless I manually check my app and/or email messages, the lead stays there, sometimes - for days (according to what's going on, in my life); it's beyond frustrating. Also, it's been over 4 yrs, and I've not bought your ads, so PLEASE STOP CALLING!
Not Much to this platform. uses it's easy to use and straight forward, however it's seriously lacking in character uniqueness it doesn't have many options that you're able to toggle back and forth between it's just really a very underdone platform. the graphics are severely outdated, the processing course is slow. I wouldn't recommend this app to my worst enemy.
I had a positive review from a client that they chose to not include for my stars. I can only assume it's because I'm not paying them. The sales rep was very misleading. Never believe gurantees for more work. I had several clicks for people looking at my pictures. But very few calls. Plus when people send a message, I wasn't able to respond on the app. I had to type my response in a different app, then copy & paste it from there. Complete waste of money. Will not give them another dime.
I would give 0 stars if I there was an option. This service is not user-friendly; maybe if you pay for it, the site causes more frustration for your business than it helps, doesn't work well for mobile services, lists information that it states it will keep private, doesn't seem to have an option for business registered agents, bombards you with upgrade notifications and sales consultants, more or less waste time, and of course makes it difficult to delete an account. Would not recommend.
This App makes me so mad! 1.) I can't upload videos - the only videos you can use are ones that you record nothing previously recorded. 2.) Whenever you are writing a caption for an image if you change the screen everything you have written disappears. 3.) Say you want to add an image to your slideshow... you go through the process of finding the image, writing the [required] caption, clicking 'Add' only to find that your image is not there and has not been added to your slideshow. Ridiculous!
This is the MOST TERRIBLE, MONEY HUNGRY, AND PATHETIC COMPANY I've ever seen. When they're quoting that I would not be charge for ANYTHING ELSE besides when the ad being clicked on and not realizing it's over $8 per clicks. Also offered some type of free credits for me to list the ad for free and turned out I'm still being charged over hundreds of dollars for a couple of days the ad was active. The representative was also EXTREMELY RUDE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Google is your best choice!
They give a 300 dollar credit and when you decide to cancel they still charge you. It's happened twice, and all their customer support ask is can you prove it which of course you can't and they also don't give an option to remove your card. Had to do a charge back and change my debit card just to prevent this from happening again. Lots of potential if they weren't being so greedy. Be more open like Amazon's app and people would trust your company more.
If I could give less than one star, I would. The promotions are misleading, making you pay more than you think you will. Even if there's almost no clients clicking on your page, they raise the price of click so they can charge you your full budget. The costumer service number almost never picks up, I think I was only able to reach them once, besides that it's just hours and hours on hold. They take DAYS to respond to the support emails, which is ridiculous for a big company like that.
I got the phone pitch and spoke to a very friendly young lady that convinced me to sign up for a $300 free test run. There was no noticeable increase in traffic so I kinda forgot about it. The free trial period expired and then they started billing my card. So a combined $450 did nothing but increase the amount of spam calls I was getting. I could have spent that money in FB advertising and actually seen great results. I won't fall for this overpriced scam again! Terrible experience!
Bots. They use bots. People who contacted me within app, but no one ever called and that's how I was charged for clicks and them contacting me. Besides , the credit they offered me was stuck on "$81 of credit left' with no updates and then I was charged with payment the next day, why didnt it go down from $81 to lets say $50, $30, $10. I don't know how to describe it. Tech issues maybe
Overall, easy and straightforward app. Minus 1 star for not having billing on the app itself. I was receiving a charge on my card, although I had stopped my yelp campaign. Called support and they told me it was actually the verification badge charge. She continued to explain that I can either cancel over the phone or the billing page would be accessible through browser and I can cancel from there. Minus 2 stars for not having something so crucial (costing us money) available on the app
I have used several lead generation apps. This is by far the worst. Angies, networx, home advisors, any other lead service is better than yelp. I can't type nothing without page refreshing. For 2 hours I've been trying to update my page but the page refreshes everything I click anything else. And nothing is then saved and I have to start over. No other apps have this many issues. Yelp. You need to get it together. I don't leave a review unless i feel like there's a valid reason.
I checked it out a few times but always deleting it cause 1: nobody uses it, 2: Google Maps comes pre installed on every Android & the reviews are all right there & FREE. why make more work nobody uses or looks at. It's a waste of time & space on your phone. I just had to download it again in order to write this review and to no surprise 9 out of 10 people are not satisfied - and some actually PAYING for what you can do better and for free on Google Maps?
